A new stove

So my mother's stove was 24 years old and you never knew how it was going to cook things. Sometimes your food would come out fine, sometimes it would burn, and sometimes it took forever to finish cooking. My mom decided to get a new one for Christmas and so we went to Lowe's to pick one out. We picked out this awesome Frigidaire convection range and the guy that worked there said his computer said they had 2 but he wanted to check in the back to make sure they had it. He checked and told us they didn't have one after all and that he could call another location for us. He called another store and they had one that they would put aside for us so that we could come and pay for it. My dad went to pay for it and to set up a time they could deliver it.

They delivered it on monday afternoon but they didn't remove our old one because they weren't qualified to hook up the new one and we needed something to cook with. When my dad got home from work we removed the old stove (we broke the door off it on the way out of the house) and started to take the protective stickers and tape off the new stove. As we were pulling them off my mom says "wow, I bought a GE stove...no I didn't I bought a Frigidaire stove." Silly Lowe's sold and delivered the wrong stove (it was the same price but it wasn't convection).

Here is the wrong one

We tried to call them but they were closed. The next morning my dad went to the first Lowe's we were at and told them what happened and they called the other store to see if they had the right stove. They had the stove but couldn't deliver it until Thursday so we were left with a gaping hole where the stove had been.

Gaping hole

They finally delivered the right stove Thursday evening and we hooked it up and it works great!
